The Rogues Coffee House & Kitchen We are a music themed friendly café, serving home cooked breakfast and lunches. We use fresh ingredients from local butchers, bakery and greengrocers.

Part of the enjoyment of the Rogues is experimenting at home, in readiness for new menu’s!

So this could be a side dish? Crispy crunchy smashed roast baby potatoes, or a light lunch on its own.

Roasted with garlic salt and onion granules, an indulgent rich creamy Tuscan sauce - with garlic, butter, Parmesan, spinach, Italian herbs, truffle pesto, smoked paprika and cream.

With the unfortunate and very sad demise of Fosters butchers, we are trying different products from multiple butchers. Such great choices! Today we served black pudding ring slices and back bacon from Pepperdines butchers, “Olde English’ sausages from Wards Meats (Ruskington) with roast potatoes, mushrooms and cherry vine tomatoes from Fresh from the fields bailgate shop.

This breakfast this morning was for a hungry customer 😊

Last breakfast’s (and lunches) for a while tomorrow, 9:30 - 2, as after a very busy summer and early autumn, we are on holiday from Monday 5th and until we open again Friday 16th October.

Sunday lunches opening 12:30 - 3pm will be our last working day before our break. We still have some tables free if you want to book. Beef, pork, turkey and vegetarian sausages.

Our next Sunday lunch is this coming Sunday, 4th October. If there are any bookings on the way, (we still have some tables available) that require our home made nut roast, we will need to know by the end of the day tomorrow please (30th September).

The next Sunday lunch will be 2 weeks after that, the 18th October.

Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity to take on a new part time team member to assist us at The Rogues. This will be, in the main, a ‘term time’ position, usually on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday, typically 10am to 2pm. A key part of the role will be pot washing and clearing tables, but will also include taking orders and assistance with preparing meals and drinks. We are ideally looking for someone with experience but it’s not essential. A great work ethic, initiative and focus is key as we can be very busy during service.
