So that is Steampunk finished for another year. Sad to see you go. It's always lovely seeing your fabulous costumes and enjoying the wonderful atmosphere. We hope you all enjoyed your weekend. We loved serving you and hope we will see you all again.

And next up in Lincoln is the first stage of the Tour of Britain. This exciting cycle race starts at 10.30 from Castle Square, then tours the Lincolnshire Wolds before returning to the city around 1.45 for 5 laps of the city, including the hill at Michaelgate. Should be a fantastic day out, although I would rather watch than cycle it!

Hello, Scott is feeling under the weather so we will not be opening today. We hope to see you all again soon.

Due to the projected high temperatures between 3 and 5 today, we have taken the decision to close Grayz tearoom at 3.00. This decision has been taken to try and protect the staff from working the the major heat of the day. Thank you for your consideration in this matter and please stay safe in the heat.

Unfortunately we are still waiting for our equipment to get fixed but our electrical issue is now fixed. So regrettably we are having to remain closed until further notice for food but may open for scones, cakes and pastries.

Polite notice to all our patrons.
Unfortunately due to electrical issues beyond our control we will be closed tomorrow 21st and possibly Wednesday 22nd. We will keep you updated on the issue and endeavor to open sooner if we are able to.

Unfortunately we're closed again today as there is a maintenance issue that would affect customer service and satisfaction. Waiting for an engineer, so we may be able to open later in the day.

Unfortunately we're closed today, this wasn't the plan but since my stroke I have some very rare days where my energy levels dips and I feel I wouldn't be able to give my customers the level of service they deserve.
