The Golden Eagle has been an established hostelry since the early 1700’s and has become a gem of a pub on Lincoln’s lengthy high street. With a cosy front lounge with a log burner as well as an exceptional beer garden area, the pub is popular with a wide range of customers all year round. The back bar provides all round viewing for sports events; our three televisions can provide two separate screenings at any one time. We host live music events both inside and outside of the pub depending on the time of year. The Golden Eagle offers up to nine hand pulled ales at any one time and have a selection of both continental and craft beers in bottles. The lounge bar is home to a range of specialist fruit wines and a select range of Scottish single malts to compliment any evening out. Our outside area was redeveloped in 2012, offering lit and heated booths on a landscaped and raised patio area as well as facilities for bbq’s and a marquee to host various parties or events. We can provide a range of buffets for private or corporate functions and have a select food menu on offer throughout the week.

Our Open Mic Night is making way for something new…

THIS MONDAY

Acoustic Jam Night! 🎸🎤

We’re going for a much more chilled-out, relaxed atmosphere — no pressure, no performances needed. Just turn up, bring your instrument and get involved!

🎸 Bring your own instrument (keyboard on site)
🎤 Sing if you fancy it
🥁 Make up a band on the night
🎶 Jump in with other musicians
🍺 Or simply grab a pint, sit back and listen!

All abilities are welcome — it’s all about making music, meeting people and having a good jam.

Just a few of the brilliant creations from today’s Knit & Natter Craft Group, run by Impart here at The Golden Eagle! ❤️

From crochet and colourful crafts to trying something completely new, it’s all about getting creative, having a good natter and enjoying a relaxed afternoon with lovely company.

The group meets every other Tuesday, 1pm–4pm and everyone is welcome — you definitely don’t need to be an expert!

We love seeing our pub being used for things like this. 🥰🧶

📚🍻 LINCOLN’S BIG READ AT THE GOLDEN EAGLE! 🍻📚

We’re excited to be one of the venues taking part in Lincoln’s Big Read this Saturday! Join our host Emma for a relaxed afternoon of books, drinks and friendly conversation here at The Golden Eagle. 💛

We’ll be discussing Jenny Quinn’s Rise to Fame by Olivia Ford — a chance to share your favourite moments, talk about the characters and hear what everyone else thought.

Loved it? Didn’t love it? Still working your way through it? That’s all part of the conversation! You don’t need to be a book club regular, and there’ll be discussion questions on the tables to help get the chat flowing. 📖
