☀️ It’s absolutely roasting.

So naturally, we’ve done the sensible British thing…

Complained about the weather and made an Iced Latte. 🧊☕️

Fresh coffee, plenty of ice, and approximately 3 minutes of pretending we’re somewhere on the Amalfi Coast rather than melting outside Nonna Juana. 🇮🇹😎

Honestly, we’re coping remarkably well.

Sometimes things just don’t go to plan… 💛

We’re so sorry to say that our van has broken down again.

After four weeks of dealing with different mechanical issues that have kept us off the road, we really thought everything was finally fixed. Unfortunately, today it broke down once more.

As a result, we’ll be suspending our mobile van service until further notice.

We know many of you look forward to seeing us each week, and we’re truly sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment. This has been incredibly frustrating for us too, but we don’t want to promise a service that we can’t reliably provide.

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and all the kind messages you’ve sent us over the past few weeks. Your support means the world to us.

We’re doing everything we can to get back on the road as soon as possible, and we’ll keep you updated as soon as we have any news.

Ever wondered why our focaccia is flatter than most?

Simple. Because it’s made to be a sandwich.

Not a loaf pretending to be one.

Our focaccia is inspired by the Genovese style: lighter, airier, and designed to let the filling do its job rather than burying it under a small mattress of bread.

Don’t get us wrong—we love good bread. We make it every day.

But if you bite into a sandwich and all you remember is the bread… something’s gone a bit wrong.

Could we make it twice as thick? Absolutely.

Would it be better for our margins? Probably.

Would it be better for you? Not really.

We’d rather be honest.

Our job isn’t to sell you as much bread as possible. It’s to make a properly balanced sandwich where every ingredient gets its moment.

Less bread for the sake of it.

More flavour where it actually counts.

That’s the point.
