On a cold winter day earlier this year, one of the Cabin holders mumbled something about " we could do with a Defibrillator here" . Some folk said " A what?", some folk said " We'll never raise the money "
Eventually, the Defibrillator idea snowballed, a management and installation company was sourced, a suitable machine was spec'd and a fundraising page was set up. Cabin holders began having fundraising ideas .That was just two months ago.
TODAY WE HIT OUR FUNDRAISING TARGET !!!
It's been emotional, I can tell you! !
Beyond Bootcamp and The Potting Shed - Lichfield held a joint fundraising event today, that enabled us to beat our target.
A huge Thankyou to everyone who has supported this cause in whatever way! We are delighted! It's a strange feeling to have raised £2000 to buy something that we really want but hope we will never need.
