As our seventh work experience placement comes to an end, we just wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to the fantastic schools who continue to trust us with their students, helping them gain real-world experience, confidence and skills for the future.
With parental permission to share, today marks the end of the past week spent with two extraordinary young men. Although, technically, one finished a little earlier than planned after deciding the salad bar at Harvester was calling his name... and honestly, we don't judge him. ๐คทโโ๏ธ๐
Over the past week they've both thrown themselves into everything we've asked of them, and it's been an absolute pleasure having them with us.
One of our newest young team members even worked alongside Tom to create his very own bespoke mocktail, which has gone down brilliantly. The Kiwi Cooler - which will be showcased when our staff attend out annual Queenscroft prom at the end of the month! ๐ฅ
And yes, before anyone says it... FIVE different customers asked Tom if he'd brought his son to work. ๐๐
Watching young people grow in confidence, learn new skills and develop a passion for hospitality is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do, and we're incredibly proud of both of them.
Good luck with whatever comes next, lads. You've both been brilliant. ๐โค๏ธ
