Who remembers when the Heifer Herd dared to bare for our Naked Charity Calendar?! 😂🐮

In fact… we didn’t just do ONE we actually did TWO! 🙈

Both were a huge hit and, most importantly, helped us raise lots of money for charity.

So it got us thinking…

Should the Heifer Herd dust off their strategically placed props and do ANOTHER one?! 👀😂

🍽️ One of the best parts of our day has to be a good old Sunday Roast! 🤤

And before the comments start… YES, the beef is pink, It’s cooked exactly how we think it’s at its absolute best, tender, juicy and full of flavour.
But we know pink beef isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, so if you prefer yours cooked a little more, just ask and we’ll happily cook it to your liking.

And if a roast isn’t quite calling your name, don’t worry we’ve got plenty of other delicious dishes on the menu too 😋

Oh gosh… 😲 Due to a large party cancellation, we’ve suddenly got some tables available for TOMORROW’S Sunday Lunch!

This is a VERY rare occurrence because, as you know, our Sunday lunches tend to get booked up well in advance.

It was Thia’s birthday this week, so of course we couldn’t let it pass without a little Heifer shout out! 🥳

Thia is Boss Dave’s youngest daughter, and she’s already been well and truly recruited into Heifer life! You’ll find her helping our brilliant housekeeping team behind the scenes, keeping our rooms looking lovely and ready to welcome our guests.

We’re not sure being the boss’s daughter gets you out of any jobs around here… 😂

🐟🍳 FISH FOR BREAKFAST… WHY NOT?! 🍳🐟

We know it’s not for everybody first thing in the morning… but here at The Heifer, it probably won’t surprise you that we have some rather delicious fish options on our residents’ breakfast menu.

🐟 Scottish Smoked Salmon & Scrambled Eggs
Served with hot granary toast.

🐟 Natural Oak Smoked Haddock
Mustard seed cream & poached eggs.

🐟 Grilled Whitby Kippers (pictured)
Dried cherry tomato & herb butter with poached free-range eggs.

Of course, there are plenty of traditional breakfast favourites too… but for our fellow fish lovers, this might just be the perfect way to start a day in the Dales.

How long have you worked at The Heifer?
On & off for an incredible 15 years! But as a chef, 18 months.

Favourite Heifer dish?
Fillet Steak, cooked medium with Madeira Jus on the side… YUM

Favourite Heifer room?
The James Bond Room because she loves the round bed 😍
