This Father’s Day, we’re doing something very special at the inn.
My dad will be joining me in the kitchen to cook a Greek supper inspired by his roots and the food that has always been part of our family table. Born in Athens to a Scottish father, his connection to Greece has shaped the way he cooks — generous, vibrant food made for sharing. He’s also been my biggest inspiration as a chef, so much of the way I cook and think about food comes from him.
Before opening our family restaurant, he was a lead tenor with the English National Opera, bringing passion, drama, and warmth to the stage long before he brought those same qualities into the kitchen. Food, music, and hospitality have always gone hand in hand in our family.
For one evening only, we’ll cook side by side, serving a menu inspired by Greek flavours, long lunches, and the kind of dishes that bring people together.
A celebration of fathers, family, and the joy of gathering around a table.
