So this morning we received a call from Scottish Fish & Chip Awards to say we have been receiving votes even though we haven’t entered.
We are of course very grateful to anyone that has taken the time to vote.

But although we entered last year, only because we were approaching our 40 year anniversary we won’t be entering again.

That also means that regrettably Dazza missed out on a Spicy Special but he is of course welcome to come and try it anytime.

And the fact we’ve being going for 40 YEARS tells us we are doing something right and we have loads of happy customers means we don’t need a piece of paper to tell us how much you enjoy our products.

Having said all this there is loads of great chippy’s out there and if going for awards is their thing then good luck to each and everyone of them, it’s just not for us.
