Grange Court A John Abel 1633 Grade 2* Listed Building in a beautiful setting just off Leominster town centre. A beautiful wedding or function venue with licensed bar.

Fully accessible, free entry and parking, dog-friendly café and gardens. Grange Court is FREE to enter. We have high quality interpretation telling the story of the building from its beginnings in 1633 as the market house, to it's time as a family home, to its role in the community today. Grange Court is owned and run by LARC Development Trust, a local charity made up of Trustees from the communit

y, and was bought from Herefordshire County Council in June 2013 for £1. The building is now entirely accessible for people with disabilities and so is a space for the whole community. The building is licensed for Weddings and Civil Ceremonies and rooms can be hired for a whole range of events at competitive prices. We are delighted to announce that Leominster's Oil Painters will be joining us throughout the month of August , showcasing their incredible artwork.
Leominster's Oil Painters are a weekly run oil painting class thats held every Monday morning in Leominster . All those that are attending were new to using the medium oil. The exhibition is a selection from the paintings that they have done . The artists are all local to the town and villages around Leominster. There is a wide range of painting subjects that I am sure everyone that visits will enjoy . Please support your local artists by popping in and taking a look of the exceptional talent on show

We are very grateful to everyone who supported our appeal for the repair of the ground floor Victorian windows. We would like to give particular thanks for some very generous donations. These windows have now been refurbished by ABL Painting in line with instructions from Historic England.

Sadly we now need your support to refurbish the first one of our Oak windows on the first floor in the John Abel room. This is suffering from wet rot and now needs much more extensive work than the Victorian windows, requiring skilled renovation by a heritage joiner.

Our target sum is an enormous £15,000 as this work will require scaffolding and the window to be removed to be worked on. This is all part of the continuous renovation needs of such a historic building that we all love and enjoy.
