☕️🍰 13 YEARS AGO Tomorrow we opened our doors at CuriosiTEA Rooms for the very first time in Ivinghoe. Most said it would fail and at times we probably did too. With hard work, dedication and a great team, we built the reputation up and the company was successful very early on. It was hard work and lots of sacrifices were made but it was worth it.
In 2018, Sven joined H as co-owner of CuriosiTEA Rooms and as a team, built the brand to be bigger and better. With Sven’s fresh set of eyes, new ideas and creativity, we expanded, progressed, improved and diversified. Covid hit us hard but we did whatever we had to, to be able to survive. We got through it then we were hit with the biggest blow of being asked to leave Ivinghoe so the trustees could run their own cafe. We could easily have given up, we very nearly did, BUT, it made us strive to do even more. Our community were amazing and supported us, so we found new premises in Pitstone. We have worked so hard to build the company to what it is today, with an amazing team. We’ve made the wrong decisions and opened in locations that weren’t right for us, weren’t right for what we stand for - COMMUNITY but our current four locations are ones we are very proud of….. now times are harder than they have ever been with rising costs, cost of living crisis and lots of contributing factors. So once again we are digging deep, doing whatever we can to keep the business going, keep the staff in jobs and keep the community spirit alive. You have all been so amazing and made our journey possible and we appreciate you all for it.
