Itโ€™s always hard saying goodbye to a design after spending so much time piping every detail.

But the beauty of a dummy cake is that it gets to become something completely new.

This one felt like pure summer woodland romance ๐ŸŒฟโœจ

A tall textured buttercream wedding cake in warm golden tones, finished with cascading buttercream florals, soft pinks, deep berry roses and trailing wisteria-style details.

I loved how this design sat so beautifully within the woodland setting โ€” soft, floral, a little whimsical, but still full of statement detail. The kind of cake that feels like it belongs in the middle of an enchanted garden wedding.

Each flower was hand-piped in buttercream, creating that romantic, textured finish that makes the whole design feel full of movement and softness.

So much to post and catch up on now that I have access to my account againโ€ฆYAY! But life is also crazy busy at the moment so of course I'm behind on everything ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Letโ€™s start with this woodland wedding styled shoot back in March ๐ŸŒฟโœจ

Set at the beautiful Sylvan Ferns, this shoot was full of colourful bunting, vintage details, wild florals and that relaxed festival-in-the-woods feeling.

The cake was all about warm golden tones, textured buttercream and soft floral details โ€” designed to sit beautifully amongst the woodland styling while still feeling bold, joyful and a little bit different.

Thereโ€™s something so special about seeing a styled shoot come together so beautifully ๐Ÿค

This week I had the pleasure of being part of this dreamy wedding shoot at Cranford Hall in Kettering, surrounded by soft whites, romantic florals, candlelight, elegant styling and the most gorgeous bridal details.

For this shoot, I created a long, elegant buttercream wedding cake with delicate textured florals, pearl details and a soft white-on-white finish โ€” designed to sit perfectly within the romantic, modern styling of the day.
