Tuesday:
🎯 Darts night - the board is up from 5pm

Wednesday:
❓❔❓Our famous Quiz Night - this month it'll be hosted by Penny - she will channel her inner Steve - and make sure it's definitely 'the easiest quiz you've ever done' 🤣

Saturday:
🍽️ Breakfast Club is open from 10am - 12pm - come join us for a hearty breakfast to start your day
⚽🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 World Cup! It's England's last group stage game - let's cheer them on!

Sunday:
🎙️We have the wonderful Kevin Mack singing RatPack style hits from the 50's and 60's while you tuck into your Sunday Roasts. We currently have a few tables available - head online to www.thevillageswan.co.uk to book your table.

A Message to Our Customers

We wanted to share something that happened yesterday, not to point fingers, but to highlight the reality faced by small independent businesses like ours.

For Father's Day, we were fully booked and, as a result, had to turn away a number of customers who wanted to dine with us. Sadly, within the hour before service – and in some cases just minutes before booking times – we received cancellations from 6 separate tables, totalling 20 guests 😞

We understand life happens, but when cancellations happen at such short notice, it's almost impossible for us to refill those tables. The food has been ordered, staff have been scheduled, and other customers have already been turned away. On key occasions such as Father's Day, Mother's Day and special events, this can have a significant financial impact on a small business.

Like many hospitality businesses, we've faced plenty of challenges, and every booking really does matter.

For this reason, we have made the difficult decision that for future key dates, special events and major occasions, we will be taking non-refundable deposits at the time of booking (to be taken off your bill) 💷.

We hope our customers understand that this isn't about making money from cancellations – it's about protecting a small local business and ensuring we can continue providing the best experience possible for those who choose to support us.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Father's Day and to all those who continue to support us. It genuinely means the world to us. ❤️
