The Cake O'clock Tea Shop

So it’s been a while since I posted, so I wanted to pop on and say a few words,

Firstly I want to say how grateful I am for every message, every comment, every pop by that we have had over the last few weeks, what has been the most toughest thing has flipped because of the love and support we have received!

I want to say a huge thank you to Joanna, Paul and family for all their help, these guys were strangers a month or so ago but the help, and support they have show in helping move (and store) some of the shop is beyond selfless!
Also my girls, my amazing staff, the work they have done in clearing the shop with me and just the unconditional support, it will never be forgotten!!

So as this chapter closes as in the previous post the girls will be going to Joanna’s (bridgewater drive) this has made me so happy that they will all be together, and please guys, if I can ask one last thing, please like and follow their page and give them all the support you gave me, their food is amazing and I can stay their shop is as warm and welcoming as the cake o clock was. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the best 5 years!!

🌸 The Final Cup 🌸

Today marks the final day of trading for my little tea room, and I honestly don’t know how to put into words just how emotional this moment is.

Five years ago, I opened the doors with a dream in my heart and a teapot in hand — not knowing where this journey would take me. What followed has been nothing short of amazing. You came in for a cuppa, a slice of cake, maybe a quiet moment… and somewhere along the way, many of you became more than just customers — you became friends, part of my daily life, part of my heart.

The laughs, the chats, the shared stories, the kindness — I will carry all of it with me forever. This place has been filled with love, warmth, and memories that I will never forget.

It breaks my heart to say goodbye, but it’s time to close this chapter. I’ve poured everything I had into this place, and walking away isn’t easy. But I walk away with deep gratitude for every one of you who supported me — whether you came once or a hundred times, you made a difference.

Thank you for letting me be part of your community, for choosing to support a small business with a big heart. I’ll miss every bit of it — and every one of you.

💔 A Difficult Goodbye 💔

After 5 wonderful years, it’s with a heavy heart that I share the news that I’ll be closing the doors to my beloved shop. This decision hasn’t come easily, but with the constant rise in costs and overheads, it’s become impossible to keep going.

I’m so proud of everything the shop has achieved, and I’ll forever be grateful to every single person who supported it over the years – from loyal customers to friends who cheered me on through it all. You’ve been a part of this journey, and I can’t thank you enough.

Though this chapter is ending, I’m hopeful and open to whatever comes next. Sometimes moving on is the bravest thing we can do, even when it hurts.

Our last day sadly is Friday 27th June, and it’s been a very pushed decision, hence the very quick closure. But if your around and you would like to come and say goodbye to us we would love to see you Friday.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for 5 (and a bit) amazing years.
