Whether having a bite to eat in our restaurant or just drinking with friends outside in the sun, on our patio area the Peterboat offers it all. A venue steeped in local history, traditional values and character are embedded in its history(the pub has been in Old Leigh's records since 1757), have not been lost and the venue now truly offers everything you expect and deserve from a great pub all year round. In summer a great place to be seen, enjoy the sunshine and take in the fantastic panoramic views across the estuary, in winter cosy open fires and friendly surroundings provide the warmest of welcomes. At any time of year great service and customer care are embedded in our ethos. The venue offers a great variety dishes on which we pride ourselves, including our 'Traditional Fish'n'Chips' and our 'Old Leigh Cockle Chowder' and much more - all with a great view over the Thames Estuary - what better way to enjoy your food.

Christmas at The Peterboat is coming 🎄✨

Our festive set menu will be available from 26th November to 23rd December, Monday to Saturday, with three courses for ÂŁ37.95.

Think cosy tables, festive favourites and plenty of reasons to get everyone together before the big day. ❤️

And if you’re joining us from our à la carte menu, you’ll find turkey making a festive appearance there too!

Leigh Regatta 2026 is officially underway and we’re right in the heart of all the action ⚓️

The Old Town is already buzzing and this is only the beginning. With the Regatta running all weekend, there’s plenty more to come.

Pop in, grab a drink, stay for some food and soak up the atmosphere from the heart of Old Leigh.

We’re keeping the party going at The Peterboat with live music from Broadway Band from 4.30pm.

Come down for the Regatta, stay for the food, drinks and live music by the water.
