The Sun's made a surprise appearance this week and looks like it's staying so we've extended that summer feeling with this one.

Another fully booked Sunday ❤️ Thank you!

We’d love to say it’s our incredible meats from trusted farmers, our 4th-generation butcher, or our brilliant award-finalist team…

But honestly, it might just be the FREE CRUMBLE 😂

Yep, if you’ve still got room after your Sunday roast, our chefs will treat you to a portion of homemade seasonal crumble & Devon custard, on us.

Sundays are filling up fast, so get booked in! ❤️

Reservations Reserve your table at The Old Horse. Walk-ins are also welcome, but we recommend booking to avoid disappointment — especially at weekends. Prefer to call? Ring us on 0116 254 8384 or…

🏆 WE’RE FINALISTS! 🏆

We are absolutely delighted to share that The Old Horse has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Pub category at the 2026 Leicestershire Tourism & Hospitality Awards!

After reopening our doors earlier this year, this recognition means an incredible amount to us.

A beautiful pub is about so much more than the building. It’s about the people behind the bar, the plates leaving the kitchen, the pints poured with pride and, most importantly, the hospitality our guests experience every single day.

So this one belongs to our brilliant Old Horse team and to every guest who has visited, supported us and become part of the pub since we reopened. 🙏🏼
