🍻 Pubs are at the heart of our communities
They create jobs, bring people together, and bring life to our cities, towns and villages, but right now, pubs and the wider hospitality sector are facing huge pressure from rising costs.
On top of this, UK hospitality pays 20% VAT – one of the highest rates in Europe.
France, Spain and Italy all have a 10% VAT rate for hospitality, while Germany's is just 7%. This imbalance is putting enormous pressure on pubs, restaurants and venues across the country.
