The White Horse is “a local pub with dining” but this understated approach means our customers are always pleasantly surprised by the quality and value of the food, the ambience of our dining area and the professional service from our Staff. If you would like to eat with us, you have the choice of our Dining area, the more relaxed Bar area or our delightful garden. We give you plenty of reasons to pop along for a drink too, & there’s regular charity events. Our garden, includes an excellent Children’s play area which boarders the river and gives superb views over Watermead Park, it's a perfect place to stop for refreshments after a gentle walk. This time last week our amazing “beast” walking team were hiking 40 miles to every White Horse in Leicestershire. 3 of them made 23 miles and the remaining 10 made it all the way. There were many blisters, lots of laughter & amazing camaraderie. There’s still time to pop some pennies in the fundraising pot. Link in comments

They saw sunrise over beacon hill yesterday morning & finished their “beast” of a 40 mile walk with a sunset in Broughton Astley. They were tested right to their limits but still smiled & showed true camaraderie until the very end. Some very sore feet today but all will be so proud of their achievement. Please give us a donation… these guys deserve it…link in the comments
