Today’s ad hoc dining room for a lovely summer lunch was in a military grade parachute.

The spring growth of the garden was still in effect and led a magical air to the event as did the double teared pavlovas.

We helped stage the wedding for the couple involved ten years ago and this was a party to celebrate that time passed.

* yes we can do a vegetarian one.
* Also gluten free and vegan re available with a little notice.
* No you don’t have to book.
* You can book but only later in the day.
* afternoon tea consists of a sandwiches, cakes, macaron, fresh scone, jam, clotted cream and a pot of tea.
* yes you can swap the tea for another drink.
* We don’t sell alcohol I’m afraid.
* Mrs Bridges was the cook in the popular, period TV show upstairs downstairs.
