To all of our amazing customers,
It is with a heavy but also happy heart that we have decided to close permanently after Saturday 18th March 2017. New opportunities have arisen and drastically sped up the process but this is something we have been thinking about for a while.
As the times have changed so have our hopes and dreams and it has become increasingly evident that we cannot continue to meet the demands of running the business and have a genuine life with friends, family, holidays and everything else in between.
When we opened back in October 2011 we had no idea what to expect or if we would even survive until Christmas but we were immediately blown away by all the wonderful feedback and support we received and it has truly been an honour to get to know you all.
The cafe has been our one constant during both good and bad times over these 5+ years and we have been lucky enough to share some of our moments with you all. This is not to mention we have been treated to some of your special moments such as the joys of watching baby bumps develop into wonderful little people!
We have also been lucky enough to coincide with the rise and success of Totally Locally and their vision. The town is an infinitely greater place to be now and it’s down to all their hard work as well as the people that own and support the local businesses! So a huge thank you to you all!
We have had the most challenging and rewarding time running this ‘hidden gem’ and neither of us would be who we are today without all the experiences that came with it.
So in conclusion we have had an epic 5+ years with you wonderful people and cannot thank you enough for all of your love, support, friendship and business.
This new chapter is terrifying and exciting in equal measure but it does mean we can finally get round to checking out the competition :D
