Morning all. I’m going to have to find an alternative lettuce to iceberg or romaine for our sandwiches as we are having major issues with bugs in them. We’ve tried Booker and supermarket brands and they are all the same. Upon investigation, the National Farmers union report the hot dry weather we have had resulted in major aphid and bug infestation and they are nigh on impossible to wash out. Dani and I are not happy serving the product so apologies but we will be serving softer bagged salad from the Mediterranean until the issue is resolved.

Morning! Really sorry but due to the ridiculous cost of gluten free bread and oat milk we are going to have to introduce a surcharge for these items.

Making the best of the weather! Pepper and Kubo snuggled up! Woof …. Cheese and sausage helped

Never a dull moment at The GH. Our last customer yesterday really did not want to leave! 30 minutes later we managed to walk Swanny down to the river with the assistance of a granary scuffler! Such a lovely bird. Can’t say I’ve ever had a walk with a swan before!

Evening folks, been told by a cycling customer today that bikes are being stolen from cafes locally. Just passing message on. Thanks
