The final edit!

I’ve been so utterly blessed to have had the most incredible team by my side as we brought Salute At The White Swan to a close.

These guys have stood by me through some of the most challenging times. It hasn’t always been easy, but somehow we’ve grown stronger and closer than ever!

I know they’ll go on to achieve everything they set their hearts on ❤️ too!

I’m truly grateful to each and every one of them! They’ve shown immense maturity, strength and courage.

I’ll miss them beyond words, but I’m so excited to see them shine ✨ in their new beginnings!

A big thank you to Capri at the vine for hosting our final dinner. The food and service was outstanding. 💫🙏🏽

Just a note to Justine and all our next door neighbours at Salute at the White Swan on this your final day in business today! We pray for you and all the staff as today brings an end to the wonderful restaurant in which many of our community have loved and valued not least our Vicar Revd Mark Umpleby in his three years living and working in Rothwell. So many have shared in celebrations of life at Salutes - after baptisms, weddings and funerals from quite a nice church next door! - as well as many other wonderful meals and times that many will remember and cherish! May God bless you and guide you all. 🙏❤️

I’ve deleted my recent post advertising the brand-new chandelier for sale after seeing the comment “Typical Jew” underneath it.

I’m absolutely shocked that someone would think it’s acceptable to post an antisemitic remark like that. It makes me sick to think someone has gone to the trouble of setting up a fake account just to spread hate.

Sadly, this isn’t my first encounter with antisemitism, but that doesn’t make it any less upsetting. There is no place for antisemitism or hate on our page. Thank you to everyone who has shown kindness and support.

Only four days to go until we close our doors for the final time (at the White
Swan 😜)

We’ve been completely blown away by the kindness shown to us over the last few weeks. The beautiful cards, messages and gifts have meant more than we can say.

I have loved listening to all your Salute memories. 🥂❤️

It still hasn’t fully sunk in that Salute has just four days left here. We’ve been so busy, and our team is working hard to make sure every dish and every visit is special right up until the end.

I’m beyond grateful and so proud. It has been the greatest honour to serve LS26 for all these years. Thank you for being part of our journey and for making Salute what it is.

We’d love to see you at Church Street before we say our final goodbye (for now 😜). Our last service here is Tuesday 29 September. ❤️
