🍸 The new Blank Canvas Drinks cocktail menu is now live with us for the next three weekends until the end of the pop-up. We will be sad to see them go! But first.......

There are some incredible cocktails, such as the Lychee Apple Fix, with vodka, green apple, lemon, lychee and Peychaud's Bitters. And the Ruby Swizzle with golden rum, peach, melon, lime, blood orange and tonic water.

Hot news for Chapel Allerton 👇

Starting this Saturday, every Friday and Saturday night, Chapel Allerton welcomes for a summer popup 🍸

Blank Canvas Drinks, which are handmade in Leeds, have created a monthly menu of fourteen hand-mixed cocktails, including top tier Espresso Martinis, made with Opposite’s own expertly pulled espresso.

From 6pm until midnight, Opposite will be transformed into a table-service cocktail bar, featuring a range of classic and original cocktails, plus bar snacks from local artisans , and others.

Blank Canvas Drinks is known for creating bar-quality handmade bottled cocktails; and Opposite, as well as carrying out their usual popular coffee trade, will also sell the bottled Blank Canvas Drinks from an in-store shop during the day; so you can pick up a cocktail (or two) to take to the park and enjoy in the sun ☀️

No reservations required 🙌

We use the finest artisanal Japanese matcha from Matchæologist for our lattes 🍵

If you're a matcha lover, you might be curious to know that this matcha is grown in the world-renowned region of Uji in Kyoto prefecture, Japan. It is then roasted to perfection in small batches using proprietary techniques that ensure the best expression of the terroir.

But even if you are new to the world of matcha, don't worry! We can guarantee you that this matcha will take your taste buds on a journey you won't forget. Enjoy it hot or iced with your milk of choice.

🥪 Now this is a fancy 'sandwich'! The one to add a pinch of something special to any day.

Grilled lamb merguez sausage with a sumac fried egg on top of smoked feta & tomato with a herbed gremolata, nduja butter & served in a warm focaccia - already sounds delish. And you can add Yorkshire reared smokey bacon to make it even more irresistible.

Only available at the Meanwood site Wed-Sun 10am-3pm. Please book your spot via the link in bio, especially for weekends!

🏞️ Meanwood Valley, Roundhay Park - we have amazing neighbours around our branches. If you're planning to head out to any of the parks this bank holiday weekend, why not stop by for some drinks and sandwiches?

We've got plenty of options to cater to all tastes! And for the more adventurous of you - how about trying our delicious beetroot latte? 🩷

Sandwiches are available only at Chapel A and can sell out quite quickly, so we suggest getting them earlier! In Meanwood, you can get something from our bakes or the brunch menu.

🌐 We believe that sustainability should be at the heart of everything we do.

With this in mind, we have created a new eco-conscious space at our Meanwood store, using repurposed materials, furniture, and equipment from previous projects, local businesses, and second-hand sources.

We'll make sure to tell the story of each object in our future posts! But for now - do you recognise any of the items at the Opposite from somewhere else? these stools were repurposed, removing the backs, sealing the holes and recoated. Et voilà - beautiful stools with history 🪑
