Reception children are surprisingly exhausted. Fridays hit hard.

The WhatsApp chats are absolutely unhinged.

Don’t worry if you don’t know anyone at first. School gate friendships come slowly, but eventually you’ll find your people.

You’ll spend more time looking for jumpers and checking name labels than you ever thought possible.

One day they’ll run through those school gates without looking back.

It all happens much faster than you think.

So take the photo. Walk a little slower. Hold their hand for a little longer 🥰
