CUSTOMER NOTICE – TEMPORARY CHANGES
We want to start by saying a genuine sorry to our customers.
Over the last few weeks, our service has not been at the standard we expect from ourselves. Wait times have been longer, pressure has been higher, and we know the overall experience has not always been as smooth as it should be.
The honest truth is, ROAST! has grown rapidly. We must be doing something right because we have never been this busy during summer before, and we are extremely grateful for every single order and every customer who continues to support us.
However, over the last 2 months we have lost 4 members of staff, 2 who have moved on to start their own business next door at Toasties, and 2 for other reasons. This has left us very short staffed at the same time as the business has become busier and busier.
We know we need to get things properly in place now, especially before winter starts, as that is when we expect to get even busier.
Because of this, we are making some temporary changes for at least the next 30 days to protect our food quality, our service, and our team.
From this weekend, the only way to place an order will be directly through our website:

For the next 30 days, we will temporarily not be accepting:
❌ Telephone orders
❌ Walk-in orders
❌ Just Eat orders
❌ Uber Eats orders
✅ Delivery and collection are still available

We are absolutely NOT closed - we are just temporarily simplifying how orders come in so we can manage everything properly and give customers the food and service they deserve.
This is not a decision we have made lightly, but our food quality and service are far more important than trying to take on more than we can properly manage.
These changes should reduce pressure on front of house, the kitchen and deliveries, allowing us to get back to the great quality food and service you are used to from ROAST!
We are working hard behind the scenes to recruit, train and build the right team. Once our new staff are fully trained and settled in, we will bring everything back properly and launch our new menu.
