The winner of the Gyoza World Cup is….

*drumroll please* 🥁

KFC!!

That’s right, we’ve got fried gyoza back on the menu, with that gorgeous gravy and coleslaw combo we just can’t get enough of.

Turns out KFC isn’t for Christmas, it’s also for post-world cup!

After six weeks of knockouts, thousands and thousands of votes and 40 different gyoza going head to head, the people have spoken, and our champion has been crowned.

As promised, you’ll now be able to get our KFC gyoza for a limited time from 29th July!

What do you get when you combine the World Cup with a heatwave and non-stop events in Leeds?

We spent a lot of time in the kitchen looking at light, punchy flavours we could bring this month, and we think we’ve done it justice with…

🍚 World Cup Rice Bowl - miso BBQ pulled pork with charred corn, shiso cabbage slaw, ranch dressing, jalapeño and lime furikake and pickled red onion

🥟 Turkish Lamb Adana Gyoza - spiced lamb filled gyoza with Iskender sauce, sumac red onions, red chilli butter, breadcrumbs and Greek yoghurt

Rice bowl available all month long, but you’ve only got until the end of the World Cup to grab some gyoza before we swap to your winning from our knockout (see stories)!
