🥁 Drum roll please………. 🥁

We are absolutely delighted to announce that this year’s Islandmagee Tractor & Truck Run raised an incredible £9,026.88! 🚜🚛 That’s our biggest year to date!

You have completely blown us away. Once again, our amazing community came together and raised a truly remarkable amount of money. We cannot thank you all enough for your generosity and support.

We are delighted that this incredible total will allow us to support our three chosen organisations:

❤️ Islandmagee Primary School
❤️ Cancer Focus Northern Ireland
❤️ Playaway Playgroup

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our community, we are also able to make an additional donation of £500 towards replacing the batteries and pads for the defibrillators in Islandmagee. This will be presented to Islandmagee Community Development Association later this week who maintain the defibs on the Island.

This simply would not have been possible without all of you. Whether you lined the streets, took part in the run, volunteered your time, sponsored the event, donated, bought a raffle ticket or simply came along to support the event – every contribution made a huge difference. 👏 Thank you to every single person. We are so proud of the incredible community spirit that exists here in Islandmagee.

Over the coming week, we will be hosting cheque presentations with each of the organisations and look forward to sharing those special moments with you all.

We are always looking for ways to improve the Islandmagee Tractor & Truck Run and make it an enjoyable and safe event for everyone. We would love to hear your feedback and suggestions, so please get in touch with Deborah or Rosie with any ideas you may have.

And yes… we are already planning for next year! 🚜💨

Plans for 2027 include:
✅ New charities to support
✅ New games and activities
✅ A new route for the run

Our event is growing each year and takes a lot of people to make it work. If you would like to join the tractor run committee please get in contact. We would love to have you on board.

The weather is not looking great for this weekend so we have taken the decision to remain closed and have a wee bit of family time hopefully see you all next weekend

If you own this kayak that was left on Browns Bay beach could you please get in touch with us.

Firstly to let us know that you are safe

And secondly if you would like to get it back it is currently at our station (proof of purchase or photographic evidence will be needed so we know that it’s going to the correct person)

Remember if you’re coming to the beach and forget about bringing your children’s toys we have some available all we ask is after you finish with them either return them or if broken discard into council bins provided 😎😎
