The roles✨:

* Part-time: 16–25 hours per week
* Full-time: 35–40 hours per week

What we’re looking for✨:

* Must be 18+ due to licensing requirements.
* Previous hospitality experience is essential, ideally in a restaurant or takeaway.
* Someone friendly, bubbly, reliable and keen to work.
* A good team player who can handle a busy service without running for the hills!
* Someone happy to help out with private dining, weddings and occasional functions too.

What the job entails✨:

•Serving customers in our takeaway & restaurant
•Making coffees & other drinks
•Preparing desserts
•Handling cash
•Keeping work stations clean and tidy
•Answering phone calls & helping customers book in
And more!

Pay, opening dates and shift hours will all be discussed at the interview stage.

This guy… The Forth Valley Food Guy 💕
This is why he is our favourite food blogger. He gets it… he gets how how hard this trade is for us now. He stops by for a blether and listened to me stressing about rising costs and people saying we’re too expensive He’s been a constant for us since we started at The Cside. He put us on the map and we love him so much!

I’ve been a chef for almost 30 years and I’ve watched this trade go to s**t in front of my eyes.
It’s a very different world to when I started out many years ago. The biggest thing I had to worry about was the Scotsman newspaper coming to do a review 🤣🤣🤣

With social media now things are very different! Both myself and Martin have had to adapt to this new world of food blogging and to be fair I think we’ve done pretty well!

From starting out in a brewers fayre when I was 15 and getting chucked in the kitchen cos they were short staffed…. That’s how my cheffing career began as most do to be honest!

I then when onto Behind the wall, then fine dining, then worked in loads of places across the central belt learning my trade and perfecting my cheffing skills. Then came France! This is when I came into my own. Working under 2 Michelin trained chefs and learning everything from scratch. This changed my whole life. After that the cheffing world opened up to me! Working under the amazing Jon Wood who worked with Gordon Ramsey, becoming an honorary member of the master chefs of Great Britain… my career went from strength to strength, especially when I ran the Jam Jar In Bofa. My baby 💕💕
So you can imagine opening a chippy in Shieldhill was not on my list of things I wanted to do but boy did I love it!
Covid hit… other people closed their businesses. Not izzy and Martin! We opened one 🤣🤣 we must have been mad.

We created a monster… then 2.5 years later we opened TLP Falkirk and created an even bigger monster. 3 years later here we are … moving to premises 4 times the size of where we have been and praying it works in this current climate.

I know our capabilities as a team and can’t wait until you see the kind of food we can really do.

Also we can’t wait to put food back on plates 🤣🤣

We know we don’t always get it right but we always give 1000% not 100… we have put everything into this…. Our life and soul and all of my family who have always had my back and believed in me and my capabilities … if it wasn’t for Sarah and uncle John backing us to open larbert … this would not be possible so thank you 🙏

Thank you to all my customers who have supported me and my team on our journey. I know who you all are and you are so important to me and my team.

We love you all so much. Thank you for believing in us and we’ll see you all very soon when we open our doors in larbert and welcome you all to our new home 💕🐷🐷🐷

SNEAK PEAK👀‼️

So guys here’s a wee sneak peak of our booth seating and our amazing owner soaking in her surroundings!
Our stunning booths were designed by the amazing Iona Crawford and our wonderful interior designer Jo … and we absolutely love them! 💕

It truly is coming together and we can’t wait to do a full reveal💕

We also just want to say we are not taking bookings until our booking system is published, you guys will be the first to know when it’s open!

Our restaurant will also have around 30 covers
Small & sweet for the ultimate TLP dining experience 😉

The game was called off due to the weather, however we went ahead with the buffet and what a turn out! So chuffed to see so many regular faces today enjoying the food! 💕
