Massive thanks to everyone of you that came along last Sunday, a special thanks to Vaz and the team for organising the event, for letting us use the kitchen, and those people who were kind enough to donate a little extra on top of their meal prices.
I was blown away by the support and positive feedback for the food so thanks again to everyone who got their scran on!
After covering the costs of ingredients, donating £30 to The Greggy for use of their facilities, and taking a small wage for myself, we managed to raise £50 for the QBG collective! Great stuff guys, we couldn’t be happier!
That’s it from us for this year but if anyone has any ideas for events or projects they would like to collaborate on please do get in touch. I work full time but I’m still very passionate about the Scran It project and will constantly be on the hunt for new things to do.

We’re going to be taking over the Gregson on Sunday in a colab with cooking up a vegan small plates festive menu for your enjoyment. Come along and get your festive scran on, with profits going into the QBG operation and The Gregson Community Centre.
We’re offering up 6 dishes packed full of festive cheer, available to buy individually or as a whole at a mega discounted price. Taking inspiration from some classics but with our own plant based twist, it’ll be a tasty one.
Rumour has it there will be gallons of mulled wine behind the bar and good vibes a plenty.

Lancaster’s new 100% plant based street food diner serving up a variety of treats from junk food to more health focused delights. All totally vegan! All made fresh in house!
We’re available on Lancaster & Morecambe Eats for take out and free collection as well as in house service at our lovely base Kanteena. So come down and grab some vegan beers whilst tucking into your scran!
We’ll be serving from Kanteena on Friday and Saturday evening this week as well as the Vegan Market in town on Sunday so come check us out.
We’re running limited menus for now but still offering up some good variety and choice, watch this space and stay tuned to our socials as we develop our full menu and increase opening hours.
