Myra has vestibular disease, she’s a senior dog, I imported her from Romania in 2014 (with the help of a charity called Safe Rescue for Dogs, check them out) she’s at least sixteen but is healthy and well all of the time, so her going off her legs yesterday evening was worrying, she’s had steroids and an anti emetic and has some meds to carry on with but is expected to make a full recovery this time. I’ve always worked in animal welfare and rescue and Myra is one of many dogs our family rescued and rehomed, she is the last of the ones we adopted ourselves so we are all really glad she will be okay, but it’s been a worrying 24 hours, we really love our animals and they are all either rescued or strays that have wound up in our house. The shop is dog friendly so she will be making an appearance over the next week or so so she’s not home alone while she recovers. Thank you for all the well wishes for her and see you tomorrow ♥️🐕♥️
