Scotland Games Announcement – Next Two Fixtures! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽

We’re gearing up for the next two Scotland games and we’re expecting another huge turnout – we were absolutely rammed and we know it’ll be the same again!

Ticket Info

• Limited tickets available for general release on Monday – first come, first served. Max two per purchase- we need to know who’s coming to the pub, we want to keep the vibes perfect!

• The remaining tickets will be offered to previous ticket buyers who want to repurchase – also first come, first served from the bar on Monday.

We won’t be taking reservations via Messenger this time (we learned our lesson – our inbox gets absolutely battered 😂). So sorry, but it’s strictly first come, first served at the bar on Monday. Max two per person

Important: Please get down early if you want tickets – we’ll be flying out the door! When they are gone they are gone - we had some amazing and hilarious excuses this week

Tickets are £10 each and include a drink on arrival.
We’ve also got some fun surprises lined up that we’ll be announcing tomorrow – so keep your eyes peeled!

Lessons Learned & Improvements

We learned a lot from the first match! The back room was packed, that’s where everyone wanted to be so we’ll be tweaking the layout next week to increase capacity and improve the flow for everyone.
Screens were great but I think we might add a couple more just to give full coverage.
The singing in the back room was so loud you could barely hear the match 😂 So we’re sorting improved audio quality for next week. More info on the changes to follow!
(We’re still knackered and haven’t quite finished the mother of all clean-ups yet… send help! 🧼)

Please do not buy tickets from anyone posting resales on our posts – we’ve seen scammers at it again. If you buy a ticket and can’t make it, just keep hold of it and we’ll sort you a refund or reallocate it. Simple as that.

No Clydesdale No Party!

Lanark! What a party that was!
The Scotland boys did us proud!
And the tartan army did Lanark proud.
The atmosphere was pure electric all night (and morning) — the roars, the chants, the pride… you could feel it in every corner of the place.
Massive respect to the Scotland team and to every single one of you who packed in, sang your hearts out and made it unforgettable. Nights like this are exactly why we do it.

It capped off a truly amazing week at the Clydesdale! Our team have worked day and night,back to back double shifts for what feel like forever because this week has been in the making for months - and we are overjoyed at how well it’s been received- so so so many kind words, praise and thanks have been directed our way and we are truly grateful for the massive support!

We’re closed all day Sunday so the team can rest and recover after this mad run.
We’re moving Sunday to Monday this week. Monday Roast (it’s a bank holiday after all)
If you really need a Sunday roast our friends round the corner at the bloomgate do a bangin’ Roast!

Now we have had huge demand for tickets for the next two Scotland games - we expect a sell out when we reopen on Monday.
we’ll drop a post later today with info on remaining ticket allocation and how to get them.
And once they are sold out they’re sold out! We also have a few wee surprises planned next week. Keep and eye out on our posts later today.

Right, let’s address the rumours and gossip and have a proper laugh at yesterday’s glorious chaos:

• No one got stabbed. I repeat — no one got stabbed. - online rumours! Total nonsense
• There wasn’t a riot.
• There was basically zero trouble — just two wee incidents that our team handled professionally and quickly like the absolute pros they are.

The large police presence outside wasn’t because things kicked off — it was a sensible precaution in case they did. Massive thanks to Police Scotland for all their support, not just on the day but in the lead-up too. We work hand-in-hand with them to keep everyone safe and we’re genuinely grateful.

Now, onto the comedy gold that was running the busiest day we’ve ever had:

We ran out of Prosecco at 1pm - (double last year and drank for breakfast sorted by 3pm, don’t worry).
Card machines decided to go on strike for 4 whole hours. - we had to go cash only - and y’all emptied two cash machines.
We ran out of Red Bull, Corona and a whole lot more And despite the team moving at warp speed, we still couldn’t serve you fast enough — sorry if you were waiting! The demand was absolutely mental.

Lost & Found Update: If you’re missing a phone, a jacket, umbrella, or your voice from singing too loud… drop us a message. We’ve got random bits, one lonely trainer. 47 lost and found items.
Shoutout to the clean-up crew who went full warriors last night and this morning — you turned a battlefield of glasses, bottles, ice melt and happy chaos back into a pub. Legends.
All in all? Still the best Lanimer we’ve ever had. Packed wall-to-wall, electric atmosphere, incredible feedback, and memories made. The little hiccups just prove how rammed it was!

Lessons learned for next year… cos we’ll make it even bigger and bigger and bigger

What an absolute blockbuster Lanimer day it’s been in Lanark! 🙌✨

wow… what a day it turned out to be! The pub was packed wall-to-wall from the second we opened right through until close. Non-stop buzz, brilliant atmosphere, fantastic music, and the best Lanimer vibes we’ve ever seen. We promised the biggest one yet and we genuinely believe we delivered — the energy was electric!

A massive heartfelt thank you to my incredible team and the entertainment crew — you legends absolutely smashed it.
Fiona, Jamie, Jack, Joel, Jane, David, Pat, Gary Nikela, Daniel, Aidan, Sean, Robyn, Summer, Andrew- dream team thanks for everything yesterday and for the weeks of preparation.

Leanne got the party started, Pauline kept it going on the bar. Lyle, Gus, Robbie, Lewis & Cal & Benjamin! You all had the decks on fire! Amazing vibes!

Vagabond Pizza and Los Colemanos Tacos for the most amazing food all day.

We’d like to thanks Police Scotland for keeping us safe all day and South Lanarkshire licence department for issuing us a special licence for the day!

And to the Lanark people — thank you for showing up in force, bringing the smiles, the energy and the love. You filled the place and created memories.

Feeling truly blessed. The feedback has been incredible — so many lovely comments, kind words, hugs, and positive stories shared throughout the day. It means the world and makes every bit of prep worth it.

Lanimer 2026 is officially one for the history books and we’re still buzzing from it all. Massive success, packed pub, happy faces everywhere. Thank you to every single person who was part of it.
And we promise- next year will be even bigger and even better

What a busy but brilliant day it’s been here in Lanark getting everything prepped for tomorrow’s big day!

A huge thank you to the Lanark organisers and everyone behind the scenes for all your hard work pulling this together — your dedication makes the magic happen.

We’ve sorted a massive 1000 kg of ice for the pub — fully stocked with ice to keep everything perfectly chilled from the first pour to the last. Long day of graft done, and we’re all set for a great one tomorrow.

Wishing everyone in Lanark and beyond a fantastic, fun-filled Lanimer day tomorrow. Make loads of happy memories, stay safe, enjoy the atmosphere and soak up that community spirit!
