f wine from the extensive list. Follow this with lunch or dinner prepared by our team using only the best of ingredients from Ceredigion, Carmarthen and surrounding counties in Mid Wales. If you do not have time for lunch or dinner call by for a coffee and read the newspaper in the lounge, in the heated conservatory or on the terrace that overlooks the Teifi valley towards Lampeter. Scrumptious homemade cakes with a pot of Earl Grey are also ideal whether rain or shine. All 17 of the en-suite bedrooms are warm and comfortable with fluffy bathrobes, towels and amenities. Flat screen televisions, cordless telephones and DVD’s sit alongside the hotel’s classical Victorian features. Best rooms include one with a four-poster bed and Juliet balcony, another with a super king size bed and window seat, or how about a room with a separate dressing room area and a super king size bed? Did you know that our lovely Palm Court lounge was once double volume? / A wyddoch chi fod tô ein Lolfa Palmwydd yn arfer bod yn uwch?

The ceiling was installed in the 1950's when the hotel was converted into a care home - the Resident's Lounge above mirrors the lovely alcoves and features a beautiful ornate frosted glass skylight that used to cascade light down to the lounge below - one day we would love to restore this beautiful feature of Falcondale and remove the ceiling. In the meantime, pop in for a coffee, tea or cocktail and enjoy this beautiful, re-imagined room.

The Falcondale will be closed today for another fabulous wedding but why not join us tomorrow for Sunday lunch or take advantage of our Italian Summer Offers with a Carafe of Pimms with Strawberries & Cream in the Conservatory or on our lovely sunny terrace? Even if it is drizzly, the Conservatory is a perfect spot on a Sunday afternoon! We can't wait to welcome you!
