It was so hot that I had to use my baking day to escape to the hills (and test) The Penny Pot Cafe - Edale scones again 🫢.

Good news is…they are amazing.

Bad news is …no cakes tomorrow sorry.

Also because it’s so ridiculously hot I think even Malteser crunch wouldn’t be a winner tomorrow 🤷🏽‍♀️ x

Totally not cake related …but my Dad has changed his bike and wants to sell his old one. Seems I have been tasked with that job. It’s currently in Mr R’s workshop which I suspect will not be a popular move…

It’s electric with about 3000 miles on the clock and been looked after very well. It looks like they sell second hand for 750 ish but he’d happily take more like 400 or a sensible offer. It’s a SCOTT sub E ride.

Given its Father’s Day tomorrow I thought I best be a good daughter and try and sort for him. Feel free to message if you want any more info 🤞

Some treats are shaping up for tomorrow…(Wednesday). The allotment rhubarb is now in a rhubarb and almond gingerbread . Quite yummy if I say so myself..

Thank you for all the visits to the shed today …
completely unrelated but would anyone like or know someone who would like some pallets? Mr R keeps ordering wood to make things but not disposing of the pallets so the collection is growing.

My alternative is to chainsaw them but I have a history of chopping off fingers (my own) so trying to keep the remaining 9 🤘🏼🤞
