We offer our customers only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients, skillfully put together for our daily-changing menu. You can accompany your meal with one of our JW Lees cask ales, or enjoy a bottle of wine from our extensive Wine selection. When the weather is good, you can take advantage of our extensive outdoor seating area for a drink or meal al fresco. And for our younger customers, there's huge field and play area to keep them entertained. Don't forget us if you have a celebration coming up - our Conservatory and Garden Room can accommodate large groups.

Social Showdown tried somewhere new last night... 🧠🍻

Five of us headed to the Plough & Flail in Mobberley for their Friday night quiz - and we think we may have found ourselves a new Showdown spot.

The questions were the perfect level of challenging: enough to get us properly thinking, without leaving us staring blankly at the answer sheet. There were plenty of "I never knew that!" moments when the answers were revealed, alongside a few occasions where one of us somehow managed to drag exactly the right answer from a very dusty corner of our brain 😂

We eventually finished 9th - but we're choosing to concentrate on the absolute crackers we did get right.

The pub was buzzing, the service and hospitality from the team were fantastic, and we had wonderful company around the table.

Exactly the kind of easy Friday night Social Showdown is made for.

Thanks for having us - we'll be back! 💜
