The Ugly Duckling Riverside Tearoom We are a large bright tearoom with fantastic views of the River Nidd. Situated in Congynham Hall Car Park you dont have far to walk to sample our great food.

In the summer there is boating and all year round lovely walks. We welcome dogs in and outside We are also now selling Grandpa Greene's Luxury Ice Cream in our Tearoom and new Shop.

I would like to thank everybody that has been a customer over the past 6 years at the tearoom .
The time has now come and I’ve sold the business to a new couple known as Jim and Carol .
I would like to wish them a wonderful future together .
It is with very mixed emotions that I’ve come to do this as it’s not been an easy past year for me and couldn’t have done it without the support of all the staff ,especially Lucy and Maddy who’ve been so fantastic for me,also a very big thank you to all you amazing customers which we’ve built up a good friendship and I will miss you all .

Open Monday 23rd 10:00 until 3:00
And closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
Open Boxing Day 11:00 and close at 3:00 for all day breakfast menu .
