Two nights worth pulling over for.

Friday 23rd October — A bit of Dolly & a whole lot of 5 O’Clock Somewhere Country, LIVE, the proper kind. Hats, steel, a room that gets louder once the plates hit. Food, drinks, the band. Somewhere in the world the working day is already done. Here, the brisket decided that hours ago.

Saturday 19th December — DOLLY Europe’s most authentic tribute to the queen of country. Big hair, bigger heart, a little Christmas in the smoke. Jolene, the coat of many colours and more, sung like it matters and this year it does doesn’t it?? 🙏🕊️

Thanks to Procter’s of Chipping supplying the cheesy goodness we stuff into our new extra strong jalapeño & cheese - hand made beef sausages… yeah built with our smoked brisket trim because we wanted to 💪

Last time we were in the States on one of our pilgrimages, Texas Roadhouse put a basket of these on the table.
Warm. Sweet. A little dangerous. Freshly baked rolls with whipped cinnamon butter… This is our tribute ❤️

Now baking was never our thing. Fire is. Smoke is. The long cook. Not dough. Not proving, but we wanted to keep it real. No bought-in rolls. No pretending we always knew how. Just a kitchen getting better, night after night, because the table asked for it and now it’s becoming something travellers landing here never knew they needed 😊

Saturday we sent out 280. One for every cover - a number we just weren’t expecting & we’re blessed by the people constantly showing up. The feedback has been unbelievable and we’re thinking we’re nearly there!
They only taste right if they’re still warm when they hit the table. Still soft - That’s the point. So volume and quality has been the challenge.

If you were here Saturday, thank you. Genuinely. From deep in our hearts we’re loving how loved Henry’s is becoming… If you weren’t, come find them - another trial for an hour today (Sunday) then launching all weekend next week.

No gimmicks - these are going to be the perfect beginning of the perfect true bbq experience every weekend at Henry’s. Another reason to hit the road and head to the Fylde Coast. Each one welcoming you to our table and for those colder nights each one feeling a little more like you’re home.
