A wee message from the Tranquility team ☕️💛
We've had a few encounters this week that have reminded us of something very important...
We're all just humans trying our best! 😊
Our team work hard every day to serve great food and coffee, keep tables turning, answer the phone, wash the dishes, and do it all with a smile. Recently as-well we have been working slightly short due to unfortunate staff sickness and holidays all hitting us at once!
There may be times you see the girls at the counter talking and quite often this can be them communicating to each other what needs done but to you it might look like a chitchat, Sometimes they may take a little longer to find you a table and this could be them triple checking so mistakes aren’t made with the bookings! Quite often as-well when it’s busy we ask them to stage the orders so the kitchen has a steady flow. Please never assume you’re being ignored as in hospitality it’s all about flow and we have our own processes!
Sometimes things get busy, sometimes mistakes happen, and sometimes we simply can't perform miracles (although we're still working on that! 😉).
A little kindness and patience go a long way, and it's always worth remembering that nice people make a place nicer.
