We have to tell you something… 🤍

A little appreciation post for two very special people behind Merchants House Café.

If you’ve been part of our journey, you’ll know that my parents MARIA & BRONISLAW have been a huge part of building Merchants House Cafe into what it is today — from helping with the shopping and behind the scenes, to making your favourite homemade soups, coleslaw, best scones ever and, of course, our much loved Merchants House cakes.

They’ve shared their recipes, little tricks and all the tips that make things taste just right, and for some time now, they’ve been passing all of that knowledge on to our wonderful team.

Now, they’re heading back to Poland, and while we’re incredibly happy for them, we know we’re going to feel their absence. It’s a new chapter for Merchants House Cafe and, without them by our side, definitely a little challenge for us too.

But one thing we can promise: your favourite recipes aren’t going anywhere. Our team has been learning, practising and making everything themselves, so the same flavours and little details will continue.

We’ll miss our two very special team mates more than we can say. They’ve been such a big part of Merchants House and the wonderful community we’ve built together. ❤️
