Part two of our Postman Pat pilgrimage.
Mrs Goggins' post office in Postman Pat was based on the real life sub post office in Beast Banks, Kendal. The author of the series, John Cunliffe lived a few doors away, and used it as his inspiration. There is a plaque and postbox topper marking the site.

Sunday is the main event for the https://www.westmorlanddalesfestival.org/
The festival fair and music starts at 10 in the church green, with Kirkby Stephen Silver Band the first act. Anthea is doing a Zumba class in Kirkby Stephen Sports & Social Club at 11. Eden Animal Rescue are starting their fun dog show at 12 in Local Links. Theres loads and loads to see and do!
