⚽️⚽️ We would like to make our customers aware that there will be a NO DOGS policy this coming Saturday from 9pm. This is due to the football being shown and the potential of heavy crowds. We will always welcome our furry friends when it is safe and comfortable for them and for our customers. So please leave them at home for the night.⚽️⚽️ We thank you for your understanding. 🐶🐾🫶🏻

⚽️⚽️ Well the big day is approaching! Scotland will play Haiti this Sunday 02:00am! We will be showing ALL World cup games at The Thistle and the Muirs. So to get us into the football mood we have to decided to reschedule our singer for this Saturday to a later date and focus on the big event!! So make sure you are with us to cheer on our boys 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 and whatever team you’re supporting! 🌎🏆

A Little Summer Break for Our Chef ❤️
From 12th June until 2nd July, The Thistle Restaurant will be closed while our wonderful chef, Atholl Pettinger, takes some well-deserved time off to move back to Kinross and, even more excitingly, marry the lovely Lucy.
We would like to wish Atholl and Lucy a lifetime of love, laughter, happiness, and unforgettable memories as they begin this new chapter together. We couldn't be happier for them and are delighted to celebrate such a special occasion.
While we'll certainly miss Atholl in the kitchen, we know he has some very important things to do! We can't wait to welcome him back on 2nd July, refreshed, newly married, and ready to cook up a storm once again.
We would also like to apologise for any inconvenience our temporary closure may cause and thank all of our customers for their understanding and continued support.
The good news is that The Muirs will remain open as usual throughout this period, and the bar at The Thistle will also remain open as normal, so you'll still be able to pop in and enjoy a drink with us.
Congratulations to Atholl and Lucy from everyone at The Thistle and The Muirs. We wish you both all the luck, love, and happiness in the world as you start your married life together. 🥂💕

Legend tells that the thistle became Scotland's national flower when an invading army attempted a surprise night attack. One of the attackers stepped barefoot on a thistle and cried out in pain, alerting the Scots and helping them defend their land. Since then, the thistle has symbolised strength, resilience and Scottish pride.
Here at The Thistle Hotel, Milnathort, we're proud to carry the name of this iconic Scottish emblem. Just like the thistle, we take pride in being at the heart of our community, offering a warm welcome to locals and visitors alike.
And what better way to celebrate than with this beautiful thistle blooming in our beer garden? 🌸🍻
