A Heartfelt Update ❤️
Firstly, we want to sincerely apologise for the delayed update. As you may already be aware, you may have noticed the “TO LET” signs now displayed on the building, and understandably, many people have been asking what has happened with the business.
We know we haven’t been able to give everyone the answers they deserve, and we are genuinely sorry for that. There is a lot that has happened behind the scenes that we simply cannot go into detail about at this stage due to ongoing legal matters.
The last few months have been incredibly difficult. What started as a business we built with so much love, time, money and hope became caught up in serious and ongoing issues with the landlord and the premises. There were persistent problems with the building, delays in getting important issues resolved, disagreements over responsibilities and circumstances that ultimately had a huge impact on the business, financially and personally.
We have tried incredibly hard to make things work and have put so much into the premises, only to find ourselves in a position we never expected to be in.
And, although we have to be careful about what we say publicly, we will simply say this:

We know we are not the only people who have experienced difficulties dealing with them, and we sincerely hope that anyone taking on the premises goes into it with their eyes wide open and protects themselves appropriately.
There is much more we would like to say, but unfortunately, due to the legal situation, we cannot discuss everything publicly at this time. We hope that when we are legally able to, we can provide a fuller explanation and allow people to understand what has really happened from our side.
Antler Club was never just a business to us. It was something we poured our hearts, time and savings into. We wanted to create somewhere welcoming for the community — a place where people could come together, share ideas, make memories and feel at home.
To everyone who supported us, visited us, recommended us, shared our posts, attended events, bought from us or simply believed in what we were trying to create — thank you. ❤️
We are truly sorry that we have been quiet and that we haven’t been able to answer everyone’s questions. Please understand that our silence has not been because we don’t care. Quite the opposite — we have simply had to protect ourselves while dealing with an incredibly difficult situation.
We hope to be able to say more when the time is right.
