Being from Bradford I always crave curry 😂😜

Throughout the past 2 years iv tried quite a few different places throughout Beverley and Hull ✔️
And although they taste nice, it’s just not an Bradford Curry - if you’ve eaten curry from a decent place in Bradford you will understand 😜

Last night I tried Skirlaugh Spice through a few recommendations 👌🏼 The guy who took my phone order was from Yeadon (Leeds) so he understood me when I said I miss Bradford food 😂

It didn’t disappoint - spot on, hot when it arrived, everything tasty, curry was very good and I’m pretty sure il be ordering again soon 🙌🏼

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has excellent customer service skills
• Is mature, polite and friendly
• Speaks fluent English and can explain menu items clearly
• Is confident and comfortable dealing with customers
• Is confident operating a till accurately
• Can work efficiently during busy and high-pressure periods
• Is reliable and takes responsibility for their work
• Has a positive and hardworking attitude

2️⃣ PERMANENT DELIVERY DRIVER 🚗

We’re looking for someone who:
• Is fast and efficient with deliveries
• Can handle busy periods and complete deliveries promptly
• Is responsible, reliable and punctual
• Is active and hardworking
• Takes responsibility for deliveries
• Has good customer service skills
• Can work well under pressure

📢 UPDATE! 🍕🍛

A huge thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts with us! ❤️

The response has been incredible, and the overwhelming majority of you agreed that closing on Mondays and opening on Tuesdays would be the best change for our community.

We’ve listened, and we’re making it happen!

🗓️ From Monday, 10th August 2026, our new weekly closing day will be Monday.

That means we’ll now be open every Tuesday, so you can enjoy your favourite curries, kebabs, pizzas, and more throughout the week! 😋

🎄 Just a reminder: We’ll still be open on Bank Holidays, Christmas, and New Year’s Day, even if they fall on a Monday.

Your feedback, encouragement, and continued support mean the world to us. Thank you for helping us make Skirlaugh Spice & Pizza even better for everyone.

We’d love to hear your thoughts!

A few of our regular customers have suggested changing our weekly closing day from Tuesday to Monday. Their reason? There aren’t many local food options open on a Tuesday evening, so by making the switch we’d be here to satisfy your midweek cravings for curry, kebabs, and pizza! 😋

If we make the change:
🗓️ We’d be closed every Monday
✅ We’d be open every Tuesday
🎄 We’d still be open on Bank Holidays, Christmas, and New Year, even if they fall on a Monday.

Before making any decision, we’d love to hear what the wider community thinks, as your feedback means a lot to us.

Which would you prefer?
🍕 Open on Tuesdays and closed on Mondays (except Bank Holidays, Christmas & New Year)
