We are looking to recruit a new member to our café team based at The Jean Bishop Centre in Hull. The café opening hours are 9am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday with work shifts of 25 - 30 hours. The cafe provides food to staff and patients at the centre, along with visitors and coffee mornings, occasional buffet provision, and a meals on wheels service each day. Successful candidates will need to have previous experience working in a busy catering / cafe / restaurant environment and be able to provide home cooked meals , upscaled for over 30 people per day. On the Meals On Wheels menu today- chicken and mushroom slice is £4, with desserts available for £1.50 including black forest gateau, strawberry gateau, Victoria sponge, lemon cake, banoffee cake, chocolate fudge, coffee cake, cheesecake, jam roly poly and sticky toffee pudding!
