As we enter summer we are looking to recruit some new team members…….
Job Title: Kitchen Team Member
Location: The Rest
Hours: Fridays and one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday), with additional hours available when required.
About the role:
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic kitchen team member to join our cafe team. You will be here to support the day-to-day running of the kitchen and cafe, preparing and cooking food, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and providing general assistance wherever needed.
This role will suit someone with previous kitchen and cooking experience who enjoys working in a busy, customer-focused environment.
What you'll be doing:
Preparing and cooking food.
Helping with food preparation.
Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy, and hygienic throughout the day.
Washing up and making sure equipment is clean and ready to use.
Helping out around the cafe when needed.
Serving customers and providing friendly customer service.
Restocking supplies and letting a manager know when things are running low.
Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures.
Using your first aid training to assist with minor incidents if needed.
Working as part of a small team to help the cafe run smoothly.
What we're looking for:
Previous experience working in a kitchen and preparing food.
A current first aid qualification.
Someone reliable, friendly, and hardworking.
Able to work as part of a team.
Good organisational skills and time management skills.
Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
