Meet the Team | Chef Martin

We’re delighted to welcome Martin Kuhl as the new Head Chef at Caffe Sala 🩵

With over 20 years in the kitchen, his passion for cooking, craft, and hospitality is felt in every detail. Martin brings experience from some of Scotland’s most respected kitchens, including the iconic Rogano in Glasgow, known for its outstanding reputation and heritage, as well as La Parmigiana, where he developed his passion for Italian cooking.

Following his time in Glasgow, Martin returned to Ayrshire to lead a number of Buzzworks kitchens before taking his most recent role at Royal Troon, recognised for its exceptional standards. His career has also included time at Dumfries House, home to The King’s Foundation.

We’re so excited to have Chef Martin join our famiglia and can’t wait for you to experience the care, passion, and creativity he’ll be bringing to every plate.
