We need to talk about Table #6 …. 🍽️❤️🪟
Our lovely window table, where you can watch the Kilmacolm glitterati glide by …. It is not a waiting area (we are WAY too small for that!) …. It is a perfectly serviceable table for 2.
If you arrive and Table 6 is the only one available you can take it or wait for another table, if you accept table 6 and one then becomes available you are welcome to move … HOWEVER, if after you’ve sat more guests arrive and are waiting, they are now first in line for the next table.
After 9 years, this is the fairest & most rational way we’ve come up with to manage this little dining nook.
As we’ve got busier, this issue along with laptops & how long is long enough to eat a scone have become some hot topics 🤣 … we are trying to navigate these issues without being too rigid.
