If you see us at an event, you know there’s a reason.
•
I never planned to be, nor do I consider Keynsham Coffee Co to be an "event business." There are too many unknowns, too many elements I can't control, and too much emphasis on speed over experience.
•
I know plenty of coffee businesses on the circuit that love life on the road and a new audience every week. Me? I like to build and lay roots. Big events can just feel purely transactional.
•
I do, however, love an event where we can get more eyes on the business, bridge a gap with a neighbouring town, and keep building the brand. This Sunday was a great example of that.
•
We might not travel to as many as we once did, but rest assured: if you see one of our vans out there, it's been carefully picked as one we're proud to attend. ☕️

Reasons to be grateful in May 🙏✨

1️⃣ The sun shone down on Keynsham Memorial Park all month long.
2️⃣ Ella, Olivia & Serena worked more shifts, took on more responsibilities and did fantastically well.
3️⃣ We sold a whole bunch of merch.
4️⃣ Time away with the family in Devon, leaving the business in the capable hands of the team.
5️⃣ Bringing back the drink that 82% of people said I shouldn't purely because I like it.

🚨 Merchandise Store Closing | 10% off everything! 🚨

It blew my mind that people asked if they could buy a t-shirt with our logo on it in 2023, and when we sold over 50 in a few months, opening a space for our range of merchandise to live made sense. Since then, sales and requests have continued to surprise me and add to my gratitude towards every supporter.
•
As the business aims to streamline, it seems the right time to 'close' this online space and focus on building the business in other forms. The shop will officially close on May 31st and until then, please enjoy 10% off absolutely everything until then using code MERCHONTOUR - link in bio>

1️⃣ We broke our weekly turnover record.
2️⃣ Taking my son to watch Millwall whilst we're actually playing well.
3️⃣ Trading at my first Keynsham Farmers Market whilst also continuing to trade in the Park.
4️⃣ Celebrating four years of the Saturday morning coffee run with the Keynsham Running Group
5️⃣ The sun SHONE on the Park and iced coffees flowed for the first time in 2026.

Making mistakes in business and taking responsibility since 2022.
•
I have recently made a few decisions around the business behind the scenes and signed up to a few things that absolutely haven't gone to plan. I take full responsibility. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, we don't know what we don't know, and I'm constantly humbled by the process of running a small independent business. Opportunities have come along that have seemed too good to pass up, and whilst I take that as a compliment, I'm still learning not to jump at them all.
•
Sometimes when we roll the dice, we catch a 1. We draw a line under it, we learn and we don't berate ourselves any more than we need to. Whatever we do, we keep moving.
