RED LION NEWS

I’m not even going to discuss how hot it is today, other than to say stay cool however you can, which could include a nice beer garden!!

Next Thursday the 20th August is quiz night, with the usual plan of please let me know if your team is in and food choices can follow, this month we have:
Sausage egg and chips
Ham egg and chips
Scampi and chips
Garden burger (vegan/veg)

The weekend from Friday 21st we are going Greek themed with tasty food dishes through to our Sunday Social with a Mykonos Magic music vibe!!! Gavros could be found at times entertaining the folks!

With September around the corner we are going to introduce a monthly curry night and a monthly steak night, great classic pub nights! The first curry night will be September the 3rd and steak night will be September the 24th.

We know we are a community that looks out for each other, and that can include in these weather conditions, so please call us if you need anything.

Well it has to be done!!! Come join us for a solar eclipse party tomorrow evening!
We have glasses and colanders for viewing, the forecast says perfect conditions so hopefully we will be able to see it happen.

We are equally as thrilled as all the other local pubs to be in the nominations for Breckland’s Local pub of the Year.
It’s great to see Breckland Council recognising our local pubs, and shows how fortunate we are in this area to have so many fine hostelries.
We are all here because of your support so that makes us winners anyway, but a vote for us would be nice 😜

Another weekend, another beer line up, for some of you some real favourites 🍻
