Happy Monday!

Drizzle is kicking in but you know what? That’s all good! It’s nice to have a little bit of the cooler weather and a little rain is actually needed at the moment in so many parts :)

But of course, if you’re feeling the drizzly Monday blues, you could just have the cake - in this case, the hazelnut Blondie is a Nutella-y goodness that pairs so well with a flat white (made with Pinnacle beans from Podda & Wren Coffee Roasters , and your choice of full fat or semi skimmed moo juice OR oat milk…. This one is oat milk for moi!).

Due to the heat (and forgetting to order stock), the cafe will be closed tomorrow. But back in on Friday, 10-6 :)

Happy Monday!

Love makes the world go round so fall in love: with yourself, life, someone else, your animal companions… fall in love with the things you do and the conversations that speak to your heart. We need more of this. We need to live and play and dance and be human. Let’s sing our souls back to life. I have chilli hot chocolate (with cinnamon as well) at the ready if you need a boost - perfect at getting you back into your heart space and warming up ❤️

This week the shop goes back to normal hours, so:
Mon-tues = 9-5ish
Wed-Fri = 10-6

Will be closed Thursday 23rd July. Got my parents coming over (so excited!) and want to make sure I’m here when they get in.

BUT to make up for it, I’ll be opening up on Saturday, 11-6. This is a bit longer than I normally do for the odd Saturday and if there is a good turnout, there may be more lazy Saturday afternoons on the horizon.

So hopefully I will see you guys on Friday and/or Saturday!

New week and the weather is still beautiful, thankfully less muggy and stifling than last week! Thank you for bearing with me while I tried to survive the heat🪭! I hope you had a wonderful time out in it ☺️

Got some cold drinks available and sweet treats and space to just lounge away in probably one of the most secret cafes in Kendal.

Open today and Tuesday, 9-5. Then Wednesday through Friday, 10-6.

I’ve had to close today, and I realise it’s super short notice but I forgot my phone at home so only just got to it.

It’s hot. I’m bothered. I have had no sleep and I can’t bear to face it. Even the fan is not good enough.

So no cafe today. But back in on Monday with smoothies, cold drinks, iced teas, iced coffees, iced chocolate, affogatos and coke floats. Most can be made to take away as well.

Sorry for the late notice, guys! I have a couple of changes in hours this week -

Monday 6th July 11.30am-5pm
This is due to a morning private event at the shop. Big apologies as I completely forgot to give anyone a heads up!

Wednesday 8th July 10am-5.30pm
This is due to a post work gathering I have booked. It’s not a major change (closing 30min earlier) but it’s necessary so I can get to where I need to be relatively on time.

I asterisked them on the image so it’s a little easier to spot.
