The punchbowl barrows green

06/10/2026

The Punch Bowl is now closed.

We’d just like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us during our time here — our customers, regulars, guests, suppliers and everyone who has helped us along the way.

Thank you for all the kind messages, cards, gifts and well wishes we’ve received to over the last few weeks. They’ve been very much appreciated.

And finally, a big thank you to our staff, past and present, for all their hard work.

For now, that’s us signing off.

Thank you,
Sam & Nicky x

MASSIVE THANK YOU TO OUR QUIZ TEAMS LAST NIGHT ❤️

We honestly can’t thank everyone enough for their generosity. 🥹

Our quiz teams donated the quiz money, even donating the rollover jackpot money, all to help with Getting Will Home and supporting his recovery. ❤️‍🩹

It really means so much to see our community pulling together to support a local lad and his family during such a difficult time.

Every donation, big or small, makes a difference. ❤️

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 🥰

The Punch Bowl

A HUGE congratulations to Matt and his team for completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks this weekend! 🥾⛰️ What an incredible achievement — we’re all very proud of you! 👏🏼🤎

So tonight, we celebrate! 🥳

Quiz night will be going ahead as usual with an 8:30pm start, but we’re swapping our usual half-time sandwiches for a Jacob’s Join cheese night! 🧀🍷

Bring along your favourite cheese, crackers, meats or nibbles to add to the table — and if cheese isn’t your thing, just bring whatever you fancy!

We’ll also have collection pots on the bar for anyone who would like to make a donation towards Matt’s fundraising for ANDY’S MAN CLUB 💙

Come down, have a quiz, share some food and help us celebrate a brilliant achievement. 🥰

See you tonight! 🤎
